A weird looking ARCHOS device passed through FCC a few days it took me a few days to understand what it really was. It looks like the first Smart cordless home phone which is running Android on it. For me it looks like a cordless phone married an Android smartphone. Android being open source has opened so many gates of looking at things and this really does not look like a bad idea. You can check messages and contacts from the cordless phones, maybe hook it to the WiFi and check mails. Though I don't think it will have a sim card slot or an SD card slot in it. FCC test report describes it as a handset of internet tablet with DECT. So there will be a whole set of tablet and cordless phones for each room. Perfect catalyst to make your home smart. So will you be looking out for this device? Cause I will be. Source: Wirelessgoodness
