Metrotube for Windows Phone ? Video Walkthrough
Last week I finally got a trial Nokia Lumia 800, thanks to the great people at Nokia Connects (former WOM World). Since we already have a full review by our Jon Choo up, I've decided to bring you bits and pieces about it, instead of a second full blown review. So in the upcoming weeks you'll find a lot more content and thoughts about the Lumia 800 here on Fone Arena! As a little preview to my upcoming "What's on my Windows Phone"-post, I've decided to do a little video walkthrough of one of my favourite apps on WP, and that's Metrotube, by Lazyworm Apps. Metrotube is a Youtube client for Windows Phone, formerly known as Lazytube. First of all, Metrotube is absolutely awesome looking! The guys at Lazyworm have picked up the already georgeous Metro UI, threw in a ton of features and polished all the rounds to create the best Youtube app I've seen in a long time. Features include a live-tile that includes notifications and a chameleon design, that adapts to your current phone theme color, a "pin videos to your homescreen" function, different video playback quality functions and much much more. I especially like the video playback ...Source: http://www.fonearena.com/blog/43995/metrotube-for-windows-phone-video-walkthrough.html
UNO is now free in the Android Market
Gameloft has released a free version of its popular UNO app for Android, which is now available in the Android Market. For those of you who can't remember your childhood, UNO is the extremely addictive card game that matches numbers and colors until the winner is left with a single winning card. UNO for Android supports multiplayer matchups via online pairing or locally through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and is compatable with all versions of Android, including Honeycomb. Keep in mind that the free pricetag comes with embedded ads, so the $2.99 ad-free version is still available. Hit the break to download.

Apple and Google just say no to ESRB mobile app ratings
You're familiar with the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB), right? They're the lot who help moms and dads ensure that their kiddies only get their grubby mitts on age-appropriate content. Recently, the ESRB's reach extended into the mobile space, but it turns out that Apple and Google aren't down with the ESRB's handy dandy ratings system. Despite being invited to the party, the two tech behemoths with matching app purchasing portals are quite content with their existing controls, thank you very much. Of course, the fact that the ESRB relies on developers to complete a detailed questionnaire instead of reviewing every app itself (not unlike existing Android Market and App Store protocols) might have something to do with Cupertino and Mountain View's reluctance to jump on the bandwagon. Looks like parents wanting to keep their kid's devices free from inappropriate content will have to remain vigilant without the ESRB's help.Apple and Google just say no to ESRB mobile app ratings originally appeared on Engadget on Tue, 29 Nov 2011 15:24:00 EDT.
